Upon returning to Albania, Erebara began his career at the state-owned "Kinostudioja Shqipëria e Re" in 1957, where he worked until 1986. His directorial debut was the film Fëmijët e saj (1957), which he co-directed with Hysen Hakani. In addition to his filmmaking, he was also a translator and cinematography historian, contributing to the cultural and artistic landscape of Albania.
